Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen and distinguished guests. Please target the youth for HIV/AIDS prevention funding. As I stand before you today, my heart is filled with excitement and inspiration.I give thanks to almighty GOD that there are people concerned about the spread of HIV/AIDS as yourselves. I believe that a new day of hope is dawning for all humanity.

Of the more than six billion people living in the world today, no one has a clear knowledge of the origin of humankind. Our history began through some unclear process. Therefore, the origin of viruses such as HIV/AIDS is equally unclear and/or often mysterious. Because of our often debated human origin and our obscure historical process, then the elimination of this disease is troubling and mysterious as well. This carries over into our personal, political, racial, and cultural spheres as well...

Who has a permanent solution to the conflict within the human psyche? How can we end the strife, suffering, and fear in the Holy Lands? Where is the peaceful resolve between the races of humankind? When will ethnic genocide cease to exist?

Historically, at times, we have pursed goodness and altruism, and at other times...evil intentions and selfishness. HIV/AIDS appears in this age as the "equal opportunity offender". This virus can either unite us all or kill us all. It has that kind of modern day impact. It is one of the most lethal equalizers we will ever encounter. Moreover, it equalizes us in suffering, pain, and ultimately death. Please target the youth for funding.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not the kind of equalization, democracy, or fairness my ancestors cried out for...how about yours? In one sense, this virus epitomizes our global problem. What do I mean by this statement? The answer is simple. We have not completed basic utilitarianism 101 or practiced the "golden rule"... Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". We have not been helpful and respectful nearly enough towards each other. Further, we violate proper healthy sexual conduct with one another.99% of this virus is preventable by changing what we think and what we do concerning sensual pleasures. 99%. Therein lies the possible cure. We must take what is often called "sexual responsibility" more seriously. I applaud your efforts and encourage you all to continue on your journey towards universal education.

The other 1% is contracted through the birth process, contaminated objects, or blood transfusions. Ladies and gentlemen, we have the cure... it is between our ears, our brain and self control. We have to teach the uniqueness, beauty, value, the potential, and essentiality of every single person. Secondly, we need to embrace the value of abstinence for some and the importance of monogamy for others.

Many are already infected, suffering, or dead. More still will be victimized, while we grapple with political issues and technicalities. We must care and supply towards their needs. They and we as you know are in a "war of viral terrorism".We all comprise the human family, nevertheless, prevention directed toward the youth should be our greatest concern, then care for those infected, education and mobilizing the houses of worship is aramount, investment from the private business sector is a key component, and a united global strategy is essential.

I submit that the Ugandan A, B, C model is the most effective national preventative method to date, which combats this scourge plaguing humanity...head by head. With closer examination of this application, many will see that it has been successful. Lives are saved and people from various groups and perspectives unite together to defeat this virus. i am excited and inspired by this effort. I believe that we have in America the ability to create a similar united movement.

Ladies and gentlemen, I will do my part. The Washington AIDS International Foundation (WAIF) will do its share of the work. Our work is to stimulate the rational conscience of all people, to encourage our fellow citizens to make intelligent choices both sexual and otherwise, to introduce the concept of sexual discipline, to tear down the walls of cultural barriers, and liberate many at risk to pursue their dreams and goals. This is our slice of
the pie.WAIF symbolizes an orphan we are all orphans or lost in some capacity or fashion. Nevertheless, when orphans pool together...can create a family, combining their talents (a community) uniting these communities (create a nation). This nation or movement can affect change in our world. Ultimately, this global change will benefit us.

Please target the youth for HIV/AIDS prevention funding.
